woo woo! agassi, venus, and pete-y advancing with no problems in the US open. today was all about tennis. hit a few good rallies with an old team mate from highschool this morning as well. anyway, while i was enjoying the games on t.v., my parents were organizing the seating arrangements for my brother's wedding in the next year. became quite the heated arguement at times trying to decide who to keep on the list and who not to. soon enough conversation shifted to me. i'm sure we've all started thinking about it since we hit the twenties club. the lecture sort of went like this ( in cantonese of course ) :..
so, any boys after you in waterloo? ( any potential son-in-laws? )
you should marry a chinese man ( so his side of the family will pay for the wedding ).
mom and dad put the most money into you so you can have a good education, and a good job ( and a rich husband ).
don't be picky like your sister. or you will be thirty and still living at home too. men can wait, women can't. ( start looking. nobody will want you when you're too old )
