frig.. i lost my post AGAIN!... that's TWO nights in a row.
anyway. it was my first weekend up in the 'Loo. and surprisingly it turned out to be pretty awesome. it was all about getting back to basics. something i never did much of back in Scarlem since i was such a city girl. you know, the usual hang outs: bbt, cafes, arcades, pool halls, etc...
after the amazing raptor game on friday night ( aha in yo face iverson ;) ) vince with 50 pts and 9 consecutive three pointers! friggen B-U-T-ful =P after the game we had absolutely nothing to do. ( i.e. no booze ) so we went for a walk. me, oliver, annie, park, keith, and dave. it was a looooong walk ending up in front of the kegger pryamid all the way at erb. our little journey started at the petting zoo at waterloo park. dave giving us the tour. we saw a hungry donkey scrummaging the ground for food. like excited children, we fetched grass and hurried back to the fence to feed it. we named him eeyore. walking further, we came across a small little park by a lake. who would have thought rock throwing competitions, swinging on giant saucer swings, and sitting on the docks staring off into the lake would pass the time so quickly. hitting erb, we turned back. jumping from board to board on the railroad tracks singing stand by me. scaring a deer who couldn't hold his bladder. and being stopped by two cop cars. haha. what a way to end the night. but it was good. this whole weekend was good. not a thought of school or worries entered my mind. i haven't had this much fun in awhile ( sad huh? ) thanx dudes ;)
